Carrier A/C Systems. This is a Package Unit that our team of technicians installed on top of a rooftop. Most A/C companies would refuse a job like this, or charge unspeakable amounts of money. We took the challenge. Package units are slightly easier to install (at least for us), but they're heavier and difficult to transport, especially when the destination is several stories high. Package units are heavier because they combine the indoor and outdoor components of an air handler and a condenser into a single unit. This does provide convenience, however, with future repairs and maintenance when necessary.

Some places will need multiple units for adequate cooling, depending on the layout and size of the space. Mini Split A/C Systems. Great for mobile homes, mini split systems are an affordable choice when limited housing or space is available. You can also get more than one unit installed for larger-than-average buildings, although we would recommend a standard condenser and air handler combination at that point.
